Marengo Community Middle School:

We Respect Property, All Others, Learning and Ourselves Welcome to Marengo Community Middle School! I am Jennifer Arreola, and it is my honor and privilege to serve as the principal of this wonderful school community.

Our staff at MCMS is committed to delivering an exceptional education to every student within a nurturing and encouraging environment.

Located in Marengo, Illinois, MCMS serves sixth through eighth-grade students, with an enrollment of approximately 340 students. Our comprehensive academic program includes mathematics, science, social studies, language arts, reading, physical education/health, art, STEM, and computer technology.

I started my educational career as a secondary school teacher in Lake County. During that time, I went back to school and earned Master's degrees for Workforce Education and Development from SIU and then Educational Leadership from Concordia University. My past administrative roles include Instructional Technology Coordinator at Cary School District 26, and Middle School Assistant Principal for seven years at Huntley District 158. Over the past year and half at MCMS, I have had the good fortune to work collaboratively and build relationships with staff, students and the community.

The top priority of a principal is to maintain the safety of the school. My goal is to help all students reach their full potential by providing opportunities to succeed.

I am looking forward to working with each of you! Please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any questions.

Go Warriors!
